Criminal charge
In December 2018, Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière was convicted of "misuse of corporate property". He admitted to overpaying Penelope Fillon, wife of former Prime Minister of France and presidential candidate François Fillon, after having given her job of convenience between 2012 and 2014, in total paying her 100.000 euros.[1] He was fined 375,000 Euros and given an 8 month suspended prison sentence.
