Gunnar Brockis a Swedish economist and business executive. He attended the 2004 Bilderberg meeting at a time when he was president and CEO of the Atlas Copco Group, a company in the Wallenberg Sphere.

Education

Brock graduated from the Stockholm School of Economics and obtained the title of Master of Economics.[1]

Career

Brock worked at Tetra Pak from 1974 to 1992, as president and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group from 1992 to 1994 and then President and CEO of the Tetra Pak group from 1994 to 2000. He subsequently became president of the outdoor equipment company Thule Group as well as president and CEO of the Atlas Copco Group, a company in the Wallenberg Sphere, from 1 July 2002 to 31 May 2009.[2][3]

He became non-executive board member of the Wallenberg company ABB in 2018.[1]

In 2009, he became a board member of the SOS Children's Villages,[4] a charity supporting orphans in the third world.[5]

Tax

In 2016, it was exposed that Brock, who was also a member of the board of the Wallenberg company Investor AB, withheld a fortune of SEK 190 million from tax authorities between 2002 and 2009. He had avoided prosecution by making a "self-correction of untaxed money abroad".[6][7]
