Damian Collins is a UK politician with a connection to the Integrity Initiative. He has been active in promoting internet censorship and raising awareness of "fake news".

Collins headed an inquiry into fighting the so-called "fake news" problem, which is reportedly considering increasing the maximum punishment for publishing real information online, from 2 years to 14 years.[2]

In April 2020 CBC reported that Damian Collins had issued a "call for laws to punish those responsible for spreading dangerous misinformation online about the COVID-19 pandemic."[3]
