Leonidas Pantelides is a Cypriot diplomat[1] who attended the 2003 Bilderberg meeting.
Education
He received a doctorate in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Kent, Canterbury, England in 1983. He has published a number of articles on various philosophical, political and cultural subjects.[2]
Career
Pantelides is the former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cyprus to Sweden, Greece, Russia, he UN at Geneva, and the United States[3] He has also served as Director of the Diplomatic Office of the President of the Republic and as Director of Middle East policy.[4]
During the first term of President Glafcos Clerides (1999-2003) he was a member of the Working Group on the Cyprus Problem, on Cypriot reunification[5].
