Career
He was a grandson of Philips founder Anton Philips. He was director of Philips until 1990.
Other activities
He attended Le Cercle in Bonn in 1983 and in Washington in 1985. Dutch historian, Gerard Aalders has charged that Frans Otten was involved in the arms dealing of Prince Bernhard.[1]
