Background

Haynes graduated from the University of Cardiff in 1999 with a degree in law and Japanese.[1]

Activities

On 11 July 2016 Haynes was scheduled to go to the Institute for Statecraft to meet Ukrainian Reserve Officers.[2]

Awards

She was awarded with an honorary degree from the University of Salford in Manchester in 2011.[3]

Exposure

Deborah Haynes was exposed by the Integrity Initiative Leak as a member of their cluster of UK journalists. She did not respond to an email asking whether she had heard of or was involved with the Integrity Initiative.[4]

A study at Cardiff University shows that "Pro-Kremlin trolls" are influencing opinion in the West by infiltrating the comments sections of news websites. Dissent from the Official Narrative? Must be Russian disinformation.
