Julian Lewis was a member of Brian Crozier's private intelligence agency, The 61, and in 1983 (and probably on other occasions) he attended a meeting of Le Cercle^[1] - and also parliament's Intelligence and Security Committee supposed to oversee the UK intelligence agencies MI5, MI6 and GCHQ.
