Activities

In 2012, Supino became a member of the Board of Visitors at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York. From 2013-2015 was a member of the international advisory board of the Italian media company RCS MediaGroup.

Supino also was on the board of directors of the Family Business Network Switzerland . From 2010 to 2017 he was a member of the Board of the Schweizerischen Depeschenagentur.

Supino is considered the driving force behind the construction of the new media house of Tamedia in Zurich, which was created from 2011 to 2013 to a design by the Japanese architect Shigeru Ban.

On September 30, 2014 Supino appeared as a keynote speaker at the annual congress of the Association of German Newspaper Publishers. He called on the present publishers to shape their own future and see the technical possibilities as an opportunity. The media, Supino said, needed "more engineers and computer scientists and fewer teachers."
