On 8 December 1980 John Lennon was hit by 5 hollow point bullets outside the New York hotel in which he was living, The Dakota. The official narrative states that the hotel's doorman just happened to be Jose Sanjenis Perdomo - an organiser of Operation 40 (the CIA-backed hit squad which has been widely connected to the JFK assassination). Perdomo's name was not disclosed to the commercially-controlled media for some years.[1]
Peace activism
In 1971, shortly after Lennon went to New York on a visa and met up with radical anti-war activists, the FBI put Lennon under surveillance, and the Immigration and Naturalization Service tried to deport him a year later.[2]
The establishment may have perceived Lennon's outspoken opinions and his massive popularity as a threat:
“Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That's what's insane about it.”
John Lennon [3]
“The people have the power, all we have to do is awaken that power in the people. The people are unaware. They’re not educated to realize that they have power. The system is so geared that everyone believes the government will fix everything. We are the government.”
John Lennon [4]
Legacy
Fans have suggested declaring John Lennon's birthday, October 9th, "An International Holiday Celebrating Peace And Love".[5]

Whitehead | John Lennon, born 80 years ago on October 9, 1940, was a musical genius and pop cultural icon. He was also a vocal peace protester and anti-war activist, and a high-profile example of the lengths to which the Deep State will go to persecute those who dare to challenge its authority. |
