Dr. Gilles Kepel is a French political scientist and Arabist, specialized in the contemporary Middle East and Muslims in the West. According to Kepel, "Islamic terrorism" is caused by fundamentalist ideology which clashes with the values of Western "democracies".[1]
He attended the 2015 Bilderberg conference.
