In February 2020 Mike Pence was announced to be heading the White House Coronavirus Task Force . Hillreporter.com described his behavior as "bizarre" and "disgusting".[1]

Fauci's Resignation
Anthony Fauci faced calls for his resignation but stated that he had not thought of it, commenting No. I think the problem is too important for me to get into those kinds of thoughts and discussions.
