Drug smuggling is the illegal transshipment, e.g. across borders of nation states, of drugs. It can be highly profitable, reflecting a high demand for the small volume product.

Official narrative

Wikipedia has never had a page on "drug smuggling". It redirects the page to the "Global drugs trade".[1]

War on drugs

Full article: War on drugs

The "war on drugs" is used to control the global drug trade, maintaining a huge price differential between producer and consumer nations. Enforcement of this is carried out by groups such as the DEA or the US Customs and Border Protection who try to prevent unauthorised groups from importing drugs across national boundaries.

Drug smuggling, like weapons smuggling, is often misrepresented by the commercially-controlled media as a matter principally of small groups of individuals. This obscures the degree to which the deep state - and the CIA in particular - is responsible for drug trafficking.

CIA connections

In November 1993, just after leaving his post at the DEA, Judge Bonner appeared on 60 Minutes[2] and criticized the CIA for permitting a drug shipment of one ton of pure cocaine to be smuggled into the U.S. without first notifying and securing the approval of the DEA.[3] The pattern of large scale CIA drug dealing continues with events such as Cocaine 1, Cocaine 2 or Western Global Airlines N545JN -- and the failure of commercially-controlled media to show interest in these events underlines the extent to which it is not only the CIA which controls the drug smuggling, but a covert network which can effect corporate media cover.

Corporate Media cover

Although the DEA cited the 2006 Mexico DC-9 drug bust‎ as an example of their campaign to intercept smuggling by sea[4] it received minimal attention from the corporate media.

Attention is focused by the commercially-controlled media instead on low level attempts by individuals or groups to evade detection by authorities,ref>http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/03/16/bizarre-smuggling-attempts-that-went-wrong-in-pictures/sofa-made-recycled-material-lorry-13-tons-cannabis-discovered/</ref> overlooking the facts that suggest that the CIA manages the global drug trade.
