Jon Rappoport is an American journalist, author and advocate for alternative medicine. He has reported extensively on the Covid-19 declared pandemic, Zika Virus and Ebola, among many other subjects. What makes Rappoport's reporting particularly interesting, is his willingness to question basic assumptions that are taken as given.

You present people with official truth about any subject — vaccines, GMOs, wars of liberation, epidemics — and they buy in, because they’re looking for summaries, reductions, simple images that require simple limbic emotions. No thought, no reasoning, no logic. Self-appointed experts say the word and populations salute, because for them the truth has to come from somewhere outside themselves, and because they want to be told what to see, how to react. This is called hypnotism. Now add one step. Put a moral value on official truth—‘you’re saving humanity,’ ‘you’re wiping out prejudice,’ ‘you’re working for universal equality’—and you really have something. You have an army of propagandists at your beck and call, a push-button army.

He has written articles on politics, health, media, culture and art for LA Weekly, Spin Magazine, Stern, Village Voice, Nexus, CBS Healthwatch, and other newspapers and magazines in the US and Europe. Jon Rappoport has worked as a free-lance investigative reporter for over 30 years. He is the author of three collections, The Matrix Revealed, Exit from the Matrix, and Power outside the Matrix.

In 1982, the LA Weekly submitted his name for a Pulitzer prize, for his interview with the president of El Salvador University, where the military had taken over the campus.

Rappoport has hosted, produced, and written radio programs and segments in Los Angeles and Las Vegas (KPFK, KLAV). He has appeared as a guest on over 200 radio and television programs, including ABC's Nightline, Tony Brown's Journal (PBS), and Hard Copy.

In 1994, Jon ran for a seat in the US Congress from the 29th district in Los Angeles. After six months of campaigning, on a very small budget, he garnered 20 percent of the vote running against an incumbent who had occupied his seat for 20 years.
