JFK assassination
In January 2004, E. Howard Hunt gave a taped interview claiming that Lyndon Johnson instigated the JFK assassination, and that the key organisers were David Sánchez Morales, Cord Meyer, David Atlee Phillips and Frank Sturgis.[1]
Larry Hancock in his 2006 book, Someone Would Have Talked reveals that Jose Sanjenis Perdomo was closely involved with David Morales in 1962 and 1963 who trained and prepared him.[2]
RFK assassination
Some researchers claim to have identified Sánchez Morales inside the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles on the night of June 5, 1968, when Robert Kennedy was assassinated.[3]
Death
Sánchez Morales was taken suddenly ill in May 1978, just weeks before he was due to testify before the House Select Committee on Assassinations.[3] Morales’s wife, Joanne, requested that there should not be an autopsy.[1] He reportedly died of a heart attack.[3]
