Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus was made the first WHO director general who is not a medical doctor in 2017.[1]
Activities
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced about COVID-19 on 2 March 2020 that "This is a unique virus, with unique features. This virus is not influenza. We are in uncharted territory." The next day he stated that "Globally, about 3.4% of reported COVID-19 cases have died".[2]
