Eduardo Carrega Marçal Grilo is a Portuguese politician. He has been a director of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation since October 2000[1], an institution with a heavy Bilderberg habit, and he attended the 199 Bilderberg meeting.
Education
He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Lisbon (1966), a Master ’s in Applied Mechanics from Imperial College London (1968) and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, again from TUL (1973).
Career
He held the position of Minister of Education from 28 October 1995 to 25 October 1999.
He has been a director of Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian since October 2000 and vice-president and managing director of Partex Oil and Gas since July 16, 2002.
He is president of the General Council of the University of Aveiro.
On January 18, 2006, he was awarded the Grand Cross of the Ancient, Most Noble and Enlightened Military Order of Sant'Iago da Espada, of Scientific, Literary and Artistic Merit.[2]
Since October 2015, he has been attending the chair of "History of Fascism" at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
