The 2016 Berlin attack occurred on the evening of 19 December 2016. The BBC reported the next day that ISIL had claimed responsibility for the attack.[1]
Official narrative
Wikipedia names Anis Amri as the "assailant", but as of January 2019 did not have a separate page for him. CNN reported that "The suspect’s identity papers were found inside the truck."[2]
Companions
A German court issued an arrest warrant for Meher D., who allegedly led Anis Amri to commit the attack.[3]
