Humza Yousaf is a Scottish National Party politician. As Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care, he is the establishment candidate to succeed Nicola Sturgeon as First Minister of Scotland in the 2023 Scottish National Party leadership election.[1]

As Transport Secretary he was fined £300 for driving without insurance.[2] As Justice Secretary he expanded the hate crime law to crack down on "hate speech". This included creating a new offence of "intentionally stirring up hatred".[3] In 2020, Humza Yousaf became widely known for giving an anti white speech in the Scottish Parliament.[4]
