Kjell Storvik is a Norwegian economist ad civil servant. He attended the 1998 Bilderberg meeting as outgoing Central Bank Governor.

Education

Storvik is an economist from the University of Oslo 1957 and cand.oecon. he graduated from Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program (AMP69) in 1974.[1]

Career

Storvik was deputy CEO of the Norwegian Shipowners' Association in the years 1977-81. He was state secretary in the Ministry of Finance from 1981 to 1985. Storvik was deputy governor of the Central Bank of Norway in the period 1985-95, and acting governor in 1995-96. He was then appointed governor of the central bank in 1996, a position he held until 1998 when he asked to resign for the age limit.[2]
