Mark Alexander Milley is a retired United States Army general who last was chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from October 1, 2019, to September 30, 2023
Overriding civilian command
According to a book by Bob Woodward, during the false flag attack on the Capitol during the 2020 election, Milley was "overseeing the mobilization of America's national security state without the knowledge of the American people or the rest of the world".
On January 8, 2020, Milley called a secret meeting at the Pentagon and instructed officers in charge of the National Military Command Center not to take orders from anyone unless they go through him first. "No matter what you are told, you do the procedure. You do the process. And I'm part of that procedure," he reportedly said, and made them verbally acknowledge the order. Milley also canceled president Trump's orders for withdrawal from Afghanistan by January 15 and even reached out to his Chinese counterpart to reassure him the US would not attack.[1]
Milley also got a phone call from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California). An alleged transcript of the call, has Pelosi saying "What I'm saying to you is that if they couldn't even stop him from an assault on the Capitol, who even knows what else he may do? And is there anybody in charge at the White House who was doing anything but kissing his fat butt all over this?", adding, "You know he's crazy. He's been crazy for a long time."[1]
"Madam Speaker, I agree with you on everything," Milley responded. After the call, he reached out to NSA Director Paul Nakasone and told him "Needles up...keep watching, scan." He also reached out to CIA Director Gina Haspel, telling her to "Aggressively watch everything, 360."[1]
Ukraine war
There should be no Russian who goes to sleep without wondering if they’re going to get their throat slit in the middle of the night,” Milley said "You gotta get back there, and create a campaign behind the lines."[2]
