Military personnel are at the very center of deep state activities.

A soldier is a person who is a member of an army. A soldier can be conscripted or mercenary, a non-commissioned officer, or an officer. Because the occupation involves power, subterfuge (war ruses), hierarchical and unquestioning lines of command, access to weapons and often a special militarist mentality, many soldiers are at the very center of deep state activities.

If you believe the doctors, nothing is wholesome: if you believe the theologians, nothing is innocent: if you believe the soldiers, nothing is safe. They all require to have their strong wine diluted by a very large admixture of insipid common sense.”Robert Arthur Talbot Gascoyne-Cecil
