Anders Thunborg was a Swedish politician and diplomat with ties to military policy, who attended two Bilderberg meetings in the 1980s.
Career
As Under secretary of defense at the foreign ministry[1], Thunborg dealt with arms sales to India in the 1970s. According to a US diplomatic cable, Thunborg was characterized by an unnamed source as part of the "Indian mafia" in Sweden, having acquired contacts in earlier days of activity in Swedish and international youth affairs.[2] He was Chairman of the Royal Swedish Defense Planning Commission in 1975.[3]
