Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister of India, having won 3 Indian elections since.[1]
2002 Gujarat riots
Modi was accused in aiding people in the killing of over 1000 people in the 2002 Gujurat riots, for religious reasons. A Special Investigation Team appointed by the Supreme Court of India in 2012 found no evidence to initiate prosecution proceedings against him.[2]
