Brittany Murphy was an American actress.

Life
She was a child actress.
Murphy is most well known for starring in the films Clueless and Girl, Interrupted.
Death
In late December 2009, she was found unconscious in the her shower at her Hollywood Hills home, the same house once owned by Britney Spears.[1] She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead. The coroner said it was a "natural death".[2] Her death certificate listed the cause of death as "deferred". Her cause of death then became known as "pneumonia". The mold in the house was considered as a possible factor in her death, as was metal poisoning.
Her husband died under mysterious circumstances 5 months later. Simon Monjack was found dead at their home apparently from a heart attack.
There are many conspiracy theories around her cause of death.
In 2021 a documentary was released about her mysterious death.[3]
