Simon Monjack was an English film director.
Life
He married Brittany Murphy in 2007.
He was known to have legal issues. He had heart problems.
When his wife died in December 2009, he blamed Warner Brothers for her death and said he would sue them.[1]
Death
He was found dead at the family house in May 2010. The coroner's report found the cause of Monjack's death to be acute pneumonia and severe anemia, similar to the causes attributed to his wife's death five months earlier in the same house.[2] He was buried next to Murphy at Forest Lawn cemetery in the Hollywood Hills.
