Dr Erkut Yücaoğlu is a Turkish industrialist with ties to the mighty Koç Family.

Background

After graduating from Robert College in 1969, he completed his doctorate in industrial engineering at Stanford University.

He founded the Industrial Engineering Department at Boğaziçi University in 1974, and served as the founding chairman of the department until 1977. Yücaoğlu, who became the Planning Coordinator of Koç Holding in 1977, continued this duty until [[1979].

Yücaoğlu was the Regional Director of General Electric between 1983-1992.[2]
