Erkki Antti Juhana Blåfield is a Finnish journalist. Blåfield has attended Bilderberg Group meetings in 2008 and 2010 as editor-in-chief of Helsingin Sanomat.

Education

Blåfield graduated with a master's degree in social sciences in 1977 from the University of Tampere.

Career

He worked as an editor for Helsingin Sanomat from 1978 to 1979 and 1982 to 1984, as a news editor from 1985 to 1987 and as an editor-in-chief from 1998 to 2012. He has also worked as a journalist for Suomen Kuvalehti from 1980 to 1982 and as an editor from 1987 to 1994, as a freelance journalist from 1994 to 1995 and as a journalist for Kauppalehti from 1995 to 1998. From 1979 to 1980, Blåfield was a spokesman and office secretary for the Finnish Institute of International Affairs.
