Jacob "Jake" Paul Tapper is the Chief Washington Correspondent for CNN. Before working at CNN, he worked for ABC, where he was Senior White House Correspondent.

In March 2017, 21st Century Wire shortlisted Tapper for their 2017 Horace Greeley Award for Best Fake News Journalist, but he did not win.[1]

On November 9th 2020, Tapper issued a clear threat that might have been designed to intimidate other journalists into silence on the subjects of election fraud in the 2020 presidential election[2]
