Sir Andrew Philip Witty is a big pharma executive involved in organising the response to COVID-19.

Activities

In April 2020, Witty began a leave of absence from Optum to assist the WHO in developing a vaccination for COVID-19.

In 2013 he reported he was "absolutely committed to rooting out corruption".^[1]

Witty was knighted in the 2012 New Year Honours for services to the economy and the UK pharmaceutical industry.
