Not unrelated to the cashless society, according to the World Economic Forum you (notice the pronoun "you", not "we") "will own nothing and still be happy" in 2030.
The 2030 UN Agenda for Sustainable Development
The year 2030 is the target date for the UN Agenda for Sustainable Development, a "blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all."[3]
