"Haluk Dinçer is the current President of Insurance Group at Sabancı Holding, the second largest conglomerate of companies in Turkey, since 2016. Serving as the President of the Retail and Insurance Group between 2011 and 2016, Mr. Dinçer has also previously achieved the positions of President of the Retail and Food Group between 2004 and 2007, and the President of the Food Group between 2002 and 2004. Starting his career as project engineer at General Motors Technical Center in the U.S. in 1985, Mr. Dinçer has served as the Turkish Industry & Business Association’s President in 2014, and also as the Chairman of DEIK / Turkish-American Business Council for three consecutive terms. In 2010, he has also represented Turkey in the B-20 business summit organized under G-20 in Toronto. Mr. Dinçer holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in business, both from the University of Michigan."[1]
