JFK assassination
In January 2004, E. Howard Hunt gave a taped interview claiming that Lyndon Johnson instigated the JFK assassination, and that the key organisers were David Sánchez Morales, Cord Meyer, David Atlee Phillips and Frank Sturgis.[1]
RFK assassination
Some researches claim to have identified Sánchez Morales inside the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles on the night of June 5, 1968, when Robert Kennedy was assassinated.[2]
Death
Sánchez Morales was taken suddenly ill in May 1978, just weeks before he was due to testify before the House Select Committee on Assassinations.[2] Morales’s wife, Joanne, requested that there should not be an autopsy.[1] He reportedly died of a heart attack.[2]
