The youngest professor of the Harvard Law School, Robert R. Bowie was a trusted confidant to John J. McCloy.

Deep political significance

Robert Bowie wrote the number 1 item of the Bilderberg 1966's agenda, the need to reorganise NATO. Since that meeting, no one ever became NATO Secretary General without first attending at least one meeting of the Bilderberg.
