Career
Kenneth Courtis is a former Managing Director of Goldman Sachs, and Vice Chairman, Goldman Sachs Asia, and as of 2017 he continued to advise the firm globally.[1]
He is the Chairman of the debate forum The Empire Club of Canada and chairman of Starfort Investment Holdings. He is managing partner of Courtis Global & Associates. He is also co-founder of Themes Investment Management, a private equity firm, and chairman of Asia Frontier Capital.[2][3]
Courtis has lectured at Keio University and Tokyo University, Japan’s two most prestigious educational institutions, l’Institut d’etudes politiques, in Paris, and at universities in North America.
He is and has been a member of the boards and advisory councils of a number of leading international firms, including Emerson, Daimler, Capitaland, Noble Group, BTG-Pactual, China National Off Shore Oil Corporation and GEMS private equity funds.
