Thomas Thune Andersen is a Danish business executive. He attended the 2009 Bilderberg meeting as CEO of Maersk Oil, a Danish oil and gas company owned by the A. P. Moller-Maersk Group, where he had worked for 32 years.[1]
As of 2023 he was Chairperson of Lloyd's Register Group, VKR Holding, and Ørsted Energy, where "a special focus over the past 5 years has been energy transformation and sustainability towards a carbon free future."[2]
Career
Andersen was CEO of Maersk Oil from 2004 until 2009, a Danish oil and gas company owned by the A. P. Moller-Maersk Group[3] with a maximum operated production of 550,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
Andersen has lived and worked abroad – Far East, USA and Europe - for more than 20 years.[2]
