These are the WEF/Young Global Leaders for 2012.[1] There are two different lists with significant differences. The public registry from 2015 has several dozen less names than a bigger 2012 internal list. They reason might be that some people requested not to be publicly listed as WEF Young leaders, or last minute changes in participants.[2] The previous year's cadre is listed as WEF/Young Global Leaders 2011, the following as WEF/Young Global Leaders 2013.

- Huma Abedin has been termed the effective “right-hand woman” of Hillary Clinton.
- Jonathan Adiri is an Israeli businessman working in the digital healthcare sector, an area pinpointed as a priority by the World Economic Forum.
- Daniel Bahr is a German politician and member of the FDP. From May 2011 to December 2013 he was Federal Minister of Health, one in a series of German health ministers who were selected a Young Global Leader.
