Andreas Egbert van Braam Houckgeest (or possibly Andreas Everhardus van Braam Houckgeest[1]) is mentioned on 3 Bilderberg guest lists as "In attendance" (i.e. observer rather than participant) but has a minimal Internet footprint. He was secretary to Prince Bernhard 1963-65.[2] and later responsible for managing the (very large) Dutch royal fortune.

Van Braam studied at Leiden University, and after military service, started working in an insurance company. To avoid compulsory work service during the German occupation, he went underground in 1943. After the war, he was active in the Dutch Red Cross 1945-47, and the Ministry for Economic Affairs, where he was part of the Dutch delegations to NATO and the United Nations. He also was Dutch trade attache in Sweden for some years.

After a few years, van Braam left to work in the bank Hollandsche Koopmansbank te Amsterdam. On January 1st, 1963, he started working as personal secretary for Prince Bernhard. Two years later, Queen Juliana made him Royal treasurer. In 1976, she appointed him chamberlain in extraordinary service. He retired in 1979.[3]
