Member of one of the United States' richest families, the Chicago Pritzker family.

Thomas J. Pritzker is a member of one of the United States' richest families, the Chicago Pritzker family, and chairman and CEO of The Pritzker Organization, the family's historical merchant bank. He is also chairman of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C. and member of the Aspen Strategy Group. His name was included in the Mossad-connected sexual blackmailer Jeffrey Epstein's private plane logs and in his "black book", where he was marked as "numero uno".

Career

Tom Pritzker was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He holds a B.A. from Claremont Men’s College and M.B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Chicago. Pritzker is chairman and CEO of The Pritzker Organization, the family’s historical merchant bank. He is also executive chairman of Hyatt Hotels Corporation and serves on the Board of Directors of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. Over his career he has been involved in acquiring and building companies in a number of different industries and founding significant companies in the fields of container leasing (Triton), biotechnology (Bay City Capital), and health care (Reliant Pharmaceuticals and First Health). His net worth is estimated at $4.2 billion[1].

Pritzker is chairman of the board of the Hyatt Foundation, which sponsors the Pritzker Architecture Prize. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Chicago.

The Pritzer Group, of the Hyatt hotel chain, has donated to both political parties but primarily to Democrats, giving a total of $23 million in 2016[2]. Pritzer was Hillary Clinton's second biggest donor, giving her campaign $16.6 million in 2016. The Prizker family was also an early patron of Illinois politician Barack Obama.

Jeffery Epstein

Tom Pritzker was listed as "numero uno" in the black book

Tom Pritzker's name was included in Jeffrey Epstein's "little black book" and his private plane logs. Tom Pritzker had twelve phone numbers listed, more than anyone else, and had a note as "numero uno".

In a deposition from a 2015 defamation civil suit, Virginia Giuffre accused Epstein of using her as a sex slave from 2000 to 2002. Giuffre named Pritzker as someone she was directed to have sex with in the Epstein ring. Pritzker denies the accusations.[3]

Other

He has also organized the Pritzker Neuropsychiatric Disorders Research Consortium, a collaborative research effort into the genetic basis of psychiatric disorders. Pritzker is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He is also an honorary professor of history at Sichuan University in China and for the past 30 years has been leading archeological expeditions in the Western Himalayas.
