Stephan Joachim Kramer is a German political functionary. From 2004 to January 2014 he was Secretary General of the Central Council of Jews in Germany and head of the Berlin office of the European Jewish Congress. He has been President of the Thuringian Office for the Protection of the Constitution since 1 December 2015.[1][2][3][4][5]
Background
Kramer was born in a German nonreligious family. Despite having no Jewish ancestors, he converted to Judaism as an adult[6].
