Rudolph Stewart Rauch III was a correspondent and bureau chief for TIME magazine, working in Europe, Asia, including the Vietnam war, and South America, as well as in the United States. [1] He attended the 1995 Bilderberg meeting at the end of his journalistic career.

Edcuation
Rauch was graduated from St. Paul's School in Concord, N. H., and in English literature in 1965 from Princeton University, where he was a member of the Ivy Club.[2]
His father was R. Stewart Rauch. Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of the Philadelphia Saving Fund Society, and Thomas M. Rauch, chairman of Smith Kline & French Laboratories. His grandfather was Rudolph S. Rauch, a Philadelphia industrialist[3][4].
Career
Rauch began his career at Radio Free Europe in Munich, Germany. He then was a correspondent and bureau chief for TIME magazine, working in Europe, Asia, and South America, as well as in the United States. [1]
He later held a number of management and publishing positions at Time Inc., before becoming managing editor of Constitution, a quarterly launched in connection with the Bicentennial of the United States Constitution.
In 1994, he was named Managing Director of the Metropolitan Opera Guild and Publisher of its monthly magazine, Opera News. In 1998, Rauch became Editor of Opera News, a position he held, along with those of Publisher and Managing Director of the Guild, until 2003.
He was the Edward R. Murrow Fellow at the Council of Foreign Relations in 1980, and he remains a Council member. He is a director and secretary of the Hudson Highlands Land Trust. [1]
There is some uncertainty in the Bilderberg identification. The attendant could also possibly be Rudolph-Rauch-Jr (1914-2001)[5]
