Sir Richard Brook Sykes is a British Big Pharma executive who has been Chair of the Vaccine Taskforce since 2021, where he was responsible for overseeing the delivery of the UK's COVID-19 "vaccination" programme, including preparations for booster programmes and "encouraging vaccine innovation".[1]
He is part of the "Wellcome Five", five friends (Jeremy Farrar, Roy Anderson, Edward Holmes, and Neil Ferguson) linked to the influential organization The Wellcome Trust, who are responsible for some of the most defining events of the Covid-19 era.[2]
