Mother Agnes Mariam de la Croix (born 1952) is a Syrian nun. She is a peace activist who was deplatformed by Owen Jones from speaking at a Stop the War Coalition event in 2013. She was accused of being too critical of NATO and too supportive of Bashar al Assad.[1]
Early life
She was born in Beirut, Lebanon to a Lebanese mother. Her Palestinian father had fled from Nazareth by the time Israel was created in 1948.
Career
She was on Sputnik with George Galloway[2]
She appeared on Episode 3, on the 30th November 2013. She spoke about Syria and Timber Sycamore.[3]
