Leif Ovesøn Høegh is a third generation shipowner, running the family line Leif Hoegh & Co, now registered in the tax haven Bermuda. He is the grandson of Bilderberg Steering committee member Leif Høegh and nephew of Westye Høegh[1]

He is the son of Ove Dines Høegh and grandson of Leif Høegh.[2]
Education
He has a MA in economics from the University of Cambridge and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
Career
Leif O. Høegh worked for McKinsey & Company and the Royal Bank of Canada Group.
Leif O. Høegh has been Deputy Chairman of Höegh LNG since 2006 and is the Chairman of Höegh Autoliners Holdings AS. He holds an MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Leif O. Høegh is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Norway.[3]
He is a board member of the think tank Civita.[4]
He is a member of the The Coalition of Hope Foundation, Inc, which according to itself is a US-based not-for-profit charitable organization that provides global humanitarian assistance and disaster-relief support.[5] The organization has many members with deep US military background.[6]
