Hussain "Hoz" Shafiei is the National Election Coordinator for the Workers Party of Britain. He is Iranian by blood, Arab by birth and English by upbringing.[1]
Atrocities in Gaza
In March 2024, Shafiei expressed anger over reports of women being raped and killed at Gaza's Al-Shifa Hospital, stating that the starvation, death toll exceeding 32,000, and widespread destruction are insufficient to prompt action. He questioned what more needs to happen for UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and US President Joe Biden to cease arming Israel and prevent these atrocities.[2]
Parliamentary candidate
On 10 July 2024, TNT Radio host Patrick Henningsen spoke with UK Parliamentary Candidate Hussain Shafiei, about the tragic result in UK politics whereby the Establishment managed to pass the ruling baton from Tories - over to Trilateralist and globalist operative Keir Starmer and New Labour, with little or no chance of any real substantial policy changes on the horizon. They also discussed the arch of the Workers Party of Britain and its growing grassroots movement.[3]
Local council candidate
On 26 August 2024, as local council WPGB candidate for Harrow Road Ward, Central London, Shafiei posted on Facebook:
- “We are being lied to every single time by one party or another that's brought in.
- "If you keep voting for these two parties, nothing is going to change. They're not there to bring change, they're there to be a continuity uni-party to make sure everything stays exactly the same.
- "That's why I'm asking you to vote for me, and vote for me in the Harrow Road ward, to give an opportunity to other voices like the Workers Party of Britain, to come into power and start showing you what we are about.”[4]
