Ismail Haluk Özgül was a Turkish diplomat. He attended the 1982 Bilderberg meeting, held in Norway, at the same time as he was ambassador to Norway.
Background
He graduated from Saint Joseph French High School in Istanbul, and the Istanbul University Faculty of Law.[1]
Career
He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1957 and assumed various duties. He was Ambassador to Norway 1980-1984, Sweden from 1985 to 1986, and died of a heart attack in Vienna in 1988 while working as the head of the Turkish Delegation to the Vienna Monitoring Meeting of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Conference.[1]
