Charlize Theron is an American actress and producer. One of the world's highest-paid actresses, she is the recipient of prizes, including an Academy Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a Golden Globe Award.[1]
She was selected a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2014.In 2016, Time named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
Orphan interest
Theron has adopted two children: a boy, Jackson in March 2012[2] and another daughter, August, in July 2015.[3] She reports that she was interested in adoption since childhood, when she became aware of orphanages and the overflowing numbers of children in them.[4] In April 2019, Theron revealed that Jackson, then seven years old, was going to change sex.[5]
