Barbara Janom Steiner is a Swiss politician and banker, and Chairman of the Swiss Bank Council, which oversees the Swiss National Bank. [1]

She took a law degree from the University of Zurich.
Career
She was president of the Graubünden cantonal division of the Swiss People's Party (SVP) and member of the Cantonal government.
By 2024, she was president of the Bank Council of the Swiss National Bank.[2]
