This bus stop in Glasgow, Scotland is plastered with: Stay Home. Protect the NHS. Save Lives.

A slogan used in Great Britain to justify government actions around the NHS during COVID-19.

Protect the NHS is an important slogan during COVID-19 in the United Kingdom. It has been used ad nauseum by the corporate media, as well as use in adverts and government propaganda to justify lockdowns and other restrictions. It has been manipulative, to make people act as if they are there to save the NHS rather than vice versa.[1] Rather than an offensive against coronavirus, the media has insisted that the healthcare system is on defence.[2]

This campaign is believed to have caused excess deaths, as ill people were told to stay away from doctors surgeries, hospitals and clinics.
