Lady Justice Hallett is a senior Judge in the United Kingdom. She was appointed as a coroner with respect to the 7-7 bombings, and to chair an "inquiry" into the UK government's handling of the COVID-19 event.[1]

Career

In the 7-7 case, Hallett decided the verdict of the "inquiry" into alleged pre-attack failings by the UK police and MI5. She was told that it would be "impossible" to reveal MI5 files about the attacks to the bereaved families or their lawyers.[2]

In July 2022, Baroness Hallett was appointed to chair the COVID-19/Public Inquiry.[3]
