Single Bilderberg Danish businesswoman and later President of the European Movement in Denmark. |
Christine 'Stine' Bosse is a Danish insurance executive with many board positions. She attended the 2008 Bilderberg meeting
In 2015 Bosse was appointed President of the European Movement in Denmark, a position she had until 2022.[1]
In 2021, she supported employers, like A.P. Møller-Mærsk, demanding that their employees take a Covid jab to be in the office.[2] She also wanted to exploit Covid to strengthen the European Union and financially strangulate Hungary:
There are four areas in which the European Union must now intervene. Let me take them one by one. Firstly, we need to work much more closely together on surveillance and alerts when infectious diseases are at risk of spreading to Europe. We need to strengthen ERCC, our common shelter, and ECDC...The nations must commit themselves to jointly thought-out action plans if something similar happens to us...Secondly, we must have built up a common stock of medical equipment. The advantage is that the EU countries can reduce the purchase price when we buy together...Thirdly, we must jointly boost the EU economy. The lesson of the financial crisis is that we must act quickly and collectively. It is with economic crises as it is with corona: they spread from country to country. Fortunately, the European Central Bank has boosted the economy by 750 billion euros, among other things, and there is close dialogue on how to do even more. Fourthly, we must protect our fundamental values together. Democracy is challenged from both Hungary and Poland's leaders. They have introduced something that goes even further than what we have seen in Denmark. We're gonna close the cash box together.[3]
Early life and education
Bosse received a Masters of Law degree from the University of Copenhagen in 1987.
Career
Upon graduation, Bosse began working for TrygVesta, a Nordic insurance agency, rising up the ranks until she became an executive manager in 1999. In 2003 she was appointed CEO,[4] and in 2009 the Financial Times identified her as "the 22nd most influential businesswoman in the world".[5]
The United Nations appointed Bosse as an Advocate for the Millennium Development Goals in 2010,[5] and she left TrygVesta in 2011, becoming a professional board member and subject-matter expert. In 2015 she was appointed President of the European Movement in Denmark, taking over from Anne E. Jensen,[6] and separately became the new Chair of the Board of BankNordik.[7] She is also President of the Royal Danish Theatre, a Member of the Board of Allianz, a non-executive director of Aker,[8] and serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Copenhagen in the Department of Operations Management.[5]
